The ADR applies to the international transport of dangerous goods by road between signatory countries. To date, more than 50 countries have ratified this agreement, covering all of Europe, the Maghreb, and certain countries in Central Asia.
In France and the European Union, the ADR rules also apply to domestic transport through their transposition into national law.
