THC (Terminal Handling Charges)

Handling fees charged when loading or unloading a container at a port terminal. Covers taking charge of the container on arrival at the port, storage in a terminal holding area plus related administration, and handling the container onto the vessel. (THCL = THC Loading, at the port of loading / THCD = THC Discharge, at the port of discharge)
